LaunchBar doesn’t give me natural language input, but I find it much faster to go with LaunchBar’s more formatted approach. I can just type key information and tab away rather than writing a full sentence. Besides all that, calendar, in general, shouldn’t be such a fancy big part of one's workflow. It’s just a freakin’ calendar. It should just keep my appointments and move out of my way instead of showing off animated dynamic language detection. Buyers should be aware of the danger of getting used to a novel way of doing things on their Mac. It is a matter of time before the developer finds it either impossible or not worth the trouble to maintain it.

So, I open Calendar.app first to check. At that point, it’s faster to just drag on Calendar.app GUI or click Quick the Quick Event button to create a new event right in Calendar.app. I sometimes use LaunchBar’s Calendar.app quick entry feature. LaunchBar doesn’t give me natural language input, but I find it much faster to go with LaunchBar’s more formatted approach.
